American Cancer Society - Road To Recovery Drivers
Help cancer patients in your community get to life-saving medical appointments. Road To Recovery drivers donate their time and vehicle to help cancer patients with limited or no transportation get to treatments. You choose the rides that work with your schedule. Rides are weekdays. We hope drivers provide 2 rides per month minimum; some help weekly if available.

Keep Austin Fed - Food Rescuer (Thursdays)
Keep Austin Fed is looking for a volunteer to adopt a weekly food rescue to pick up donated food from our partner, G&M Catering (904 Vargas Road) and deliver it to the Salvation Army Rathgeber Center (4613 Tannehill Ln Bldg 1, Austin, TX 78721). This is an ongoing, weekly commitiment: every Thursday morning at 9am, and takes about 30-45 minutes to complete. Volunteer would be picking up trays of surplus food, so having blankets or towels to protect your car from any spillage is ideal.
