The American Red Cross Disaster Action Teams provide 24-hour emergency response to local disasters, particularly house fires, ensuring that those affected have access to resources for basic necessities such as food, shelter and clothing.

AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY- Drive Cancer Patients to Treatment - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

For many cancer patients, getting to and from treatment is the greatest barrier in beating the disease. Daily or weekly treatments over a period of months can be difficult and cause some patients to miss their treatment appointments.

Road to Recovery is an American Cancer Society program designed to ensure that cancer patients have transportation to and from medical facilities for treatments. Volunteer drivers provide patients with a ride in order to keep them on their regular treatment schedule. This program is very flexible and allows volunteers to drive patients to and from treatment based on their schedule.
