Disaster Health Services Volunteer - URGENT NEED

Due to the current active hurricane and wildfire seasons, the American Red Cross continues to need volunteers to care for people in communities that have been struck by disaster.  The Red Cross has an urgent need for Health Professional volunteers to support disaster relief efforts during the current hurricane and wildfire season as well as throughout the year.

Help a senior with lawn care including mowing, edging, trimming and possible a light cleanup or raking.

They do not have their own equipment so you will have to bring your own mower, etc.

 PREVENT BLINDNESS NORTH CAROLINA-Parking for a Cause - PBNC Parking Lot Fundraiser

The largest fundraiser of the year for Prevent Blindness North Carolina involves offering our Office Park's parking spots to fair goers. Situated just a few blocks from the fairgrounds, PBNC has some of the most cost-effective fair parking around.

With over 1,100 parking spots to manage, the volunteer need is massive. The event is outdoors and in the fresh air!

This is a wonderful opportunity for small groups or individuals. Your role will be to help guide traffic into the lots, accept payments and provide parking passes to the drivers. Its an action-packed and fun event that raises money for a nonprofit serving over 450,000 people in North Carolina each year.
