YWCA OF SEATTLE-KING COUNTY-SNOHOMISH COUNTY- Deliver Food for the Food Bank

The YWCA Central Area Food Bank provides food to over 300 families each week. This service takes a great deal of volunteer support, therefore our food bank is always in need of ongoing, regular volunteers to help meet the need.

AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY - Drive cancer patients to treatment: Seattle, WA

Help cancer patients in your community get to life-saving medical appointments.

Road To Recovery drivers donate their time and vehicle to help cancer patients with limited or no transportation get to treatments.

You choose the rides that work with your schedule. Rides are weekdays. We hope drivers provide 2 rides per month

ADAPTIVE & INCLUSIVE MOVEMENT INITIATIVE - Adaptive Dance Class Buddy

Volunteers are needed for AIM's Adaptive Movement program beginning September 11! Class meets weekly, but volunteers do not need to be available for each week in order to be involved. Volunteers sign up for individual shifts based on their availability.

Volunteers are either scheduled as One-on-One support with a dancer or as a floater.One-on-one supports are paired with a student as a Dance Buddy, and provide support unique to the dancer's needs to facilitate a positive experience for them in the classroom. Floaters are not paired with a dancer and instead interact with the entire class and engage them in the class's activities. Floaters may also serve as a teacher assistant and help with prop distribution and clean up during class.
