Project Sunshine Volunteer - (Albuquerque, NM) Support Pediatric Patients

Project Sunshine is an international volunteer-led nonprofit organization whose mission is to bring joy and play to pediatric patients. Our volunteers get firsthand experience of aiding the healing journey of children facing medical challenges through play, which allows for creative expression, creates an outlet for emotion, and minimizes the anxiety or stress the children experience. Project Sunshine volunteers do this through in-hospital visits, packing activity kits, and leading virtual play (TelePlay). We lead programming for medical facilities or disease specific nonprofits.

Crossroads For Women - Donation Sorters

Crossroads for Women assists women (and their children) who are struggling with homelessness, substance addiction, and mental illness. We provide case management, vocational assistance, family and parenting services, therapeutic, social, and creative groups, individual counseling, and housing assistance. Crossroads for Women is located in downtown Albuquerque.

Food Rescue US - Albuquerque Food Rescue Volunteer

Food Rescue US is a leader in reducing both hunger and food waste in America by transforming a negative, food waste, into a positive, delivering fresh, healthy food to millions of people through our community of dedicated volunteer food rescuers. Food rescuers pick-up excess food from local food donors, including grocery stores, restaurants, corporate dining facilities, and other food providers, and deliver it to local social service agencies providing for the food insecure. Rescuers use their own vehicles and select times that are convenient for them to pick-up and drop-off the excess food. The process is quick, simple, and incredibly rewarding. Interested in getting involved? Sign up at to start today and see a complete schedule of local food rescue opportunities.
