"Polite Pioneers" is an enhancing event where the volunteers will teach children the essential social graces and polite behaviors that will help them navigate life with confidence and kindness. Beyond the basics, the volunteers will instill the values of respect, empathy, and gratitude in the kids which is essential for building strong, lasting relationships.

Challenge & Bookwallah Organization’s Role
According to UNICEF, there are an estimated 25 million children of trauma in India, a number that is expected to rise in the coming years due to increased cases of HIV and AIDS among the population.
In addition to taking the Power of Stories by building libraries with books in English and local languages and volunteer reading sessions, we offer the Bookwallah Reading Rug Program for those orphanages that do not have separate child-friendly reading areas with complimentary Bookwallah Reading Services.
